Recirculation door control arm location and repair

Hi folks,
My new (to me) 2000 Aero has an inoperative recirc door. Replaced the broken arm for the ACC code 08 but during a run through a car wash with the outside air temp at 100 degrees it was painfully obvious that the recirc door was still open although there are no codes for it. Temp inside the car assumed OAT and 100% humidity!
Location of the beast and, oh joy if anything like the driver's side blend door repair, how to?
Thanks,
Brooks
