Define "eventually cup anyway" please. Tires wear out.
If you get ~ 35-40k miles on a set of tires...I consider that to be more than satisfactory tire life.
If you tires are shot after 15k miles, then you need to shim the rear axle.
Many of these wagons rear wheels are at ~ -2.0 degrees camber. My personal experience was such with my 2001 lpt wagon, now with over 115,000 miles. But I still got 40,000 miles out of my last set of (Dunlop) tires.
I just had it shimmed to ~ - 1.2 degrees. Should decrease the inboard wear on my new tires somewhat.
