You might have a huge amount of oil left in the intercooler and that will get sucked up and into the engine when you step on the throttle.
It also takes a long time to burned out all the oil in the exhaust system and if you feed it more oil from the intercooler it will take even longer.
With a total malfunction like that I usually have to sit revving the engine at 4000rpm for 15-20 minutes before I can even take it out on the street due to the huge amount of smoke. And that is after cleaning out the air ducts and intercooler.
