You took on a cool project. I don't know if the compression difference will matter, if there is one? The picture is really great as I alway wanted to see a picture of the cam-belt system. Keep us updated. I wonder if there is a way to turn the engine over with a starter to run a compression test before you install it? That would verify the condition of the valves. I'm told the water-pumps are a high-fail item so pick up one while your at it. I'm envious you have the alignment kit. Whatever you do, keep us updated on your cool project. I always wondered if the later Vauxhall 3.2 liter engine would transplant into a SAAB V6? That's the engine the 2003 Cadillac CTS has. I saw some new 3.2 liter engines on ebay for $1650? That is supposed to be a much improved engine.
