Christx. 14 mm is still 1 mm away from recommended replacement as Anders notes. Question is, do you hear your chains? If you do not , then they are not slopping around. Both balance shaft and timing chains make a real , unmistakably apparent racket at idle. In fact, the balance shaft chain can be louder, but it is hard to distinguish between them . If you are not hearing them at idle, I would not even think about replacement, which is big job. Have not heard from anyone that replaced both chains and all the bits w/o removing engine. 1 easy thing you can do is replace guide in cam cover. If your chain is/was stretching, that is a sign of potential oil problems. You should check flow chart on Andrews of Princeton page. Chuck Andrews is a renowned expert in all matters 9 5 engines. Good luck. Tom S.
