There are lots of noises thata front end can make, and its hard to describe. However here's my two cents:
The CV joint is the complex rotating and turning joint at the wheel end of the half shaft. it makes the click when its failing. it usually fails when the rubber boot breaks and allows moisture and grit in there.
The inner driver is at the transmission end, it's what the tripod bearing of the the half shaft plugs into. When an inner driver is failing, it does not make noise really, but you feel a pulsing under load. e.g accelerating onto the highway.
A failing bearing makes a "rumble" that changes with lateral loading. The noise and rough feel will go away turning in one direction, and be more pronounced in the other. the change is usually provoked only at higher speeds (higher loading) eg in a clover leaf style on or off ramp.
Failing ball joints make various noises but they are usually more like a squeak" and are not rhythmic, and usually heard at low speeds in response to vertical loading (speed bump, pothole, etc)
loose lug nuts can sound like a failing bearing, or feel like a worn inner driver.
