Same year car, manual Aero. I don't live in a cold climate (N.CA.) at least I din't used to think so. No oil consumption or leaks. the hose from the vlave cover got a hole chafed in it so I ordered the kit. It's only been a couple weeks but so far it seems like the gas mileage has improved slightly and my impression is that the car runs more smoothly and breathes better. If you can get it done for free, even if you pay the parts, go for it. It is definitely an improvement.
