and can be broken loose by clubbing from the inside with a rubber mallet, or placing a small sledge behind a wooden block and hitting.. another suggested method is to loosen the nuts part way and roll back and forth, the force of the car will loosen the wheel. Be sure to leave plenty of thread screwed in, or you'll have a mess.
Then when they are off, smear antisieze that you can buy in an auto or machione shop place on the hum where it mates the wheel- it won't happen agin.
