I just ripped my carpeting off because of a water leak a month ago.
I took out seat, carpet passanger front/back, foam and all.
1. Take seat out - careful not to strip torx screws!
2. take plastic door trim out.
3. take glove box out.
with this out you can just remove the fasteners under the seat, and start pulling it away.... the carpet isn't actually attached to the foam, the foam has sticky backing to adhere to frame but non between foam and carpet....
it's a very easy job....and actually pretty fun because half of the interior will be gone in minutes...
I had to take the electrical harness out, take the rear air vents out, take the foam out and dry for days....in the middle of december in 20 degree weather.... i put everything back but my carpet still smells mildewy...when I first turn on the AC and get into car....
:( :(
