You are lucky you have the Mitsubishi Turbo. Back in the day, my 1982 SAAB 900 had the Garrett Air Research turbo. I babied it, ran full-synthetic oil, had an accumulator that fed the turbo oil after shutdown (made by Turbo-Auto) which was I believe is now defunct, and at 50K miles, she let loose. Took out the catalytic converter in the process. The cool part is I took the emblems off the front fenders and redid them so they said "Trubo". Now comes my 2002 SAAB 9-5 Arc with the Vauxhall V6. Bought it used with 45K miles - thank God for CPO warranty. Turbo blew in 50 miles of ownership. Now with 63,000 miles and very good care, this Turbocharger is leaking some. The rubber elbow that connects to the intake manifold has a pool of engine oil. I clean it and it comes back. Puffs when I start it. Anyway, I drifted but I wish there was better Turbos for the Arc and Linear. I've always liked Mitsubishi and Hitachi Turbochargers. Down with Garrett. Hope this Turbo blows before the CPO runs out in August.
