These rear brakes are kind of a p-i-t-a....SAAB history on rear brakes...they just don't get hot enough...dirt and moisture, and salt (if you live in the Midwest) get between the pad and caliper body and create a wedge over time that does not permit full pad contact to the rotor.
When you take it apart, you'll see the edges of the pad on the caliper ass'y.
Clean it, and *some* mechanics will lube it, while *some other* mechanics say that any grease or antiseize applied, actually attracts dirt and moisture to the caliper.
