I need help triaging this - so far I've replaced the cabin filter (very dirty) which helped the air flow a lot, but the air is outside temp, even at 65 degrees (it had gone bad end of last summer). Both the fan fuse and the "ACC" fuse inisde (20, 22) look fine. I've looked under the right front and see pipes, but can't find the sight glass. I see the place inside which is like a tire fill port. When the filter was out I looked inside to see evidence of goo from a leak, saw nothing. I'm pretty good with SAABS but AC is new to me. I'm trying to figure out whether the compresser is working, whether there is freon in the system.
Where's the sight glass, exactly? Which pipe should feel cold, which hot?
Also, when i push "econ" watching the tach, I don't see the dip for the compressor kicking in, but that might be that way if the freon had all leaked out.
