I know I'm treading where any self respecting car guy would never go. Once past the stigma of a mini van the odyssey is a very practical vehicle. We Bought ours in 04 for long distance camping trips where my aero just won't hold the amount of gear we have with us. Along came grand children and the odyssey proved to be very user friendly for transporting little ones. This is especially true when you have to carry all of the paraphenalia that goes with little ones. My daughter recognized the advantages of the Odyysey as well and parted with her 9-3 in favor of an Odyysey. The odyysey is no Aero but it performs very well in the mountains ( Rockies and etc,) as well as on the interstates. Infact it is a more comfortable cruiser than my aero for consecutive 700 mile days. We're at 75K miles at this point with nothing but oil changes and tires. We're off to Glacier National park and the Pacific northwest from Massachussetts, next week for another long vacation. I love my Aero but the odyysey has performed so well and has been so useful that I had to share my experiences with it.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
