Well, at least for me, the idea of driving ANY kind of Caddy is pretty absurd. The "image" I get is either one of elderly men or of "gangstas." (not that there's anything wrong with THAT...)
Maybe your local Saab/Caddy dealer is decent, but my limited experience with them was pretty awful. I bought my CPO 9-5 Aero from a Caddy/Saab mashup, and it was in most respects a fairly unpleasant transaction. (But worth it to get what has proven to be an outstanding Saab.)
If it were me, I'd do some VERY thorough research on the third seat safety issue.Our 9-5 wagon sustained a fatal rear-end accident last year, and the passenger compartment was completely intact after the 45 mph or so impact. Food for thought, believe me.
