impact; down hill it goes a little faster, but it will readily creep uphill as well. The uncommanded increase to 1300 RPM, which is my main concern, was on a level parking lot with negligible wind. I will wait to see what the dealer says when I take it in Thursday for a list of warranty issues. I posted here just to get some idea of what to say when they tell me "they all do it". From everyone's response (much appreciated!), it appears that some creep, even shifting into 2nd, is normal. But has anyone seen their idle RPM INCREASE while the car moves forward (handbrake off) after lifting your foot from the brake pedal while in "D"?
