Your tire wear will be good for quite some time. If you still have the car at 250K (about double your current mileage), the car will be out of alignment again and will not be alignable without doubling the number of shims and exceeding the Saab recommendations. There has been at least one report of this occurring.
Two 0.6mm shims is exceeding the thickness that Saab intended (1.2mm versus a max of 0.9mm using Saab parts). So your car is already unalignable with Saab parts.
My concern with shims is how to keep from bottoming due to the still low ride height and that the car under heavy load will still be off camber spec enough to chew the tires. This is the case even on a brand new car due to the suspension design and component choices.
NHTSA continues to look into this and welcomes all input.
