Okay so I got two cans one that said that it stops leaks and I put that into the system with no problem.
Then the larger can that came with a guague.
The guage stayed constant at approximate 60 + - psi and then nothing will go into the system. At least the can felt the same as before in terms of weight.
Then I started to touch the pipe at both ends of the filler plug and they seemed to be very cold. After this I checked if the compressor is kicking in at all or not and I do not hear or feel it do that click when I switch between A/C and ECON.
So I am assuming the compressor has gone bad somehow.
I will take it to a shop to see if they can check for the pressure to test the low freon thing. :-)
Apart from that I just want to be ready to spend another $500-600 into this car which is worth only $3000 after 9 years. My BMW 318ti coupe brand new cost $20000 in 1997 and it is still worth $5000-6000, but this $35000 car after 9 years is worth less. go figure why it is not making money for GM.
Thanks
Bob
