Just picked up a very nice 2005 9-5 Arc Wagon. Lots of miles, but out of the rust belt until now. This is my first 9-5, but likely not for long. Wife and I have been driving 9000s -mine CSE, her's Aero. We love these cars, but mine lost oil pressure for some unknown reason, and assuming the engine is trashed, though it runs great. So I was forced to do something, and it has taken over a month to move on.

Picked up a light green/silver wagon in Atlanta GA yesterday after lots of internet work -who bought my black Aero in NYC with the manual?-. Drove it home to Toledo OH yesterday. It is a comfortable well mannered car that loves the xway and 11hrs of driving did not seem all that long.

I need to get used to the car, but my first impressions are mixed. I miss the manual. Though comfy, the ride is almost too soft, and my CSE was much better at cornering, the Aero is not even a comparison. Car is noticably skinnier but I'm not feeling too cramped. Better seat. Think I'll like the wagon, but still like the hatch. 30mpg+ on the trip home with AC running, and speeds of 75-80.

Wife likes the 9-5, so we'll likely be looking for an Aero for her and selling her 9kAero. Nice to be able to trade parts....
