This 5sp auto has a manual feature that I know nothing about. I don't have a clue what to do with maintenence of an auto, though I'll read this board and the manual and figure it out. The prior owner gave me a great gift. He had the major maintenence done, new Pirelli tires, brakes, DI, etc done just before he traded the car in! Go figure! Now that I know that, I figure he spent ~$2k to get all of that done. This car is looking like a better deal all the time. Plus he kept it clean.
The loss of my '95 9k CSE is a heartbreaker. It was an "Opera Chariott" and a truck. I thought it would take me anywhere!
My gut feeling is that this wagon is a lot more delicate. However I won't hesitate to throw a couple of canoes on top or pull my small sailboat. Seems to me the engine is similar to my 9k, and I'm told the autotranny is great.
Still in a state of disbelief. And where are things really located in that engine bay???
Lots to learn...
