The spacers compensate for poor geometry. *IF* the ride height is to spec, the suspension arms are not bent, and the pivot points are right, the camber will be correct. Period. Any of the above change the camber. And it doesn't help the camber that the Aeros have shorter springs but everything else is the same.
The thing to remember is that the rear suspension is relatively unsophisiticated. Unlike the 9-3SS, which features a combination of toe links and bushing compliance to offer "rear roll and side sway oversteer" to bring handling near neutral, the only thing that the 9-5 has to help it around the corners is camber change. Which it has a lot of.
