So with the right spacer, camber comes back into spec without any shims? Would it be closer to spec throughout the load range of the car?
It sounds like the ideal solution would be one that maintained unloaded ride height and thus camber as you loaded the car and did not allow for significant dynamic deformation like the stock setup which may be overloading the subframe.
The problem with many of the fixes is that I suspect based upon my experience that the failure mode is not the springs and dampers but some combination of the subframe and subframe bushings. I don’t see how any change to the suspension can keep those parts from failing. I've been very gentle on my latest subframe, but I suspect a bad one would have measurable deformation. I can't imagine all these issues are coming from minor geometry changes.
