Monroe Sensa-trac shocks Posted by brianatl [Email] (#1832) [Profile/Gallery] (more from brianatl) on Sun, 16 Aug 2009 13:22:59 In Reply to: Re: 1 Bilstein Done at 60,000 km, steve, Sun, 16 Aug 2009 12:57:52 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I put Monroe shocks on both of my 2.3t cars after about 75k miles and have been enjoying much improved ride, cornering, etc versus the originals, one of which was leaking fluid from a pothole hit most likely (I had to get two 17" Saab/bbs rims straightened on that car). I understand the Monroe rear shock is not a performance shock, but it is good to know they provide good everyday performance (at least for a while) and have a lifetime warranty should they ever leak. The install price for the shocks was a steal during a Sears promotional once I countered their attempts to charge for strut installation versus shock installation.
