I will look through that more carefully. It looks like a helpful resource.
I went to AutoZone and grabbed an air pump kit for $30. I grabbed a bottle of Techron too while I was there. Unfortunately Einstein didn't buy any vacuum HOSE. The kit came with some cheesy clear plastic lines for testing, but I wasn't expecting my rubber vacuum hoses to crumble apart as I pulled them off. I only did the bypass valve because I didn't want to break any more hose. The bypass valve held 18 mmHg for 30 seconds so I'm going to say it's fine. I'm going to try to find some silicone vacuum hose to replace EVERYTHING under there and then run some more tests. It looks like there's one vacuum line coming off the throttle body going to a splitter type thing clipped to the firewall and then they split out to other places.
So this means the farting sound I hear is not the bypass valve. I swear it comes from the passenger side of the engine bay, toward the firewall. I can make it go on for a long time going up a big hill but I could only get it to do a couple blips for this video. Thanks for any more help.
