We have had 2 sets of Pilot Sport on the Acura TL, averaged over 50K on the first set, had an unfortunate flat with the second set and replaced all 4 at 35K but they still had plenty of tread. They did not become noticeable noisy with wear. We now have 2 fairly new sets of Plus, one on the TL and one on my 9-5 Aero. (I am the tire researcher in the family).
I have about 6K on mine, they are very quiet and I am satisfied with them. I have not driven in the snow with them since I have winter tires, but the Acura reports decent A/S performance in all weather, as designed. They are rated very highly on Tire Rack, the reviews there might be helpful to you. We have never had Exalta's so I can't compare, but I do recommend the Pilot Sport or Plus. A friend put the Plus on their Honda Civic and love them. Probably will go on our Civic as well when the time comes, since I dislike the Bridgestones that came on it.
