I picked up my new Aero wagon (auto.) this weekend, and yes, the vibration at idle is there. Haven't heard the other noises, but haven't really listened yet(been too busy playing with the sound system). Will let you know what turns up. What is the break in regimen other have been told? Dealer told me to keep it at 65 or under for first 1000, and to vary the speed, but didn't mention anything specific about rpms. I'm being generally gentle with it, but hadn't really been minding the rpms to keep them below a specific level. But what a great car! Can't wait to really be able to let 'er rip!
I share your mixed emotions about the dash. I'm going to try living with the metal for a bit. If I go wood, I may get an aftermarket kit- I've heard great things about http://www.woodtrim.com, and have a colleague who just ordered one for his 9-3, so I'll get a first-hand look at it.
