You are right about the measurement, I misread the WIS.
Key thing is to keep the ride height in mind and start with that.
As the suspension goes down the camber increases and so does the toe. The toe does the tire damage more than chamber.
If you want a great handling car whether Aero on not, I would recommend going to http://www.genuineSaab.com and ordering the suspension kit with yellow Konis and new springs for $748 USD and put that on. Also do the bushings at the same time.
This will cure the excessive body roll and vague steering.....I guarantee it.
With the ride height right and the toe right you will NOT have tire wear problems.
We have a 2003 Aero [my wife's Aero] with proper alignment, ride height, and new stock struts and over 40,000 miles on the Michelins! No cupping no uneven wear.....we are about ready for tires, but that is good mileage......so don't worry about tire wear....just be sure the suspension is right.
