Good day all. I have a 1999 9-5 6 cyl with 209,000 miles on it. Engine has about 100,000...Here's my problem and this started about 2 weeks ago. If i start the car up and drive a short distance and turn it off, then try and restart, it won't. The tach and temp gauges do not budge. The engine cranks just fine but it simply doesn't start. After letting it sit for 20 minutes or so, it will start again (most times) and run fine. Once it starts, the gauges work fine too. This just started happening after my tech replaced the ABS module. I don't think it's a related problem but right now I am completely perplexed! I'm afraid to turn it off in fear of not being able to get home. Very strange. Anyone else ever had this problem? Anyone know what this could be? Thanks very much. I find this site very informative.
