I tell people we have four and many sort of blink and ask, "Really?"

I tell them our Saabs were all bought used and don't cost a lot to buy compared to other cars. Repairs aren't bad, they are very reliable and are an amazing overall value.

The '95 9K CS I got for #1 daughter almost 6 years ago got her through the last year of high school and all of college. We still have it, currently as my DD.

I've put 90K miles on the '96 9K CSE I bought as my DD in 2003. Now in my #1 kid's hands out west since June. I may never see it again if she stays out there. But it continues to run fine at nearly 180K with Aero chassis and ECU and SAS bars. Glad she's getting to enjoy it.

The '99 9-3 SE my #2 daughter drives came to us impeccably maintained at 148K by a neighbor who moved to New Zealand. Now at just under 158K I expect it to last her several more years. She loves it and says it's much better than the VWs, Hondas and 'Yotas her friends drive.

My wife's '03 9-5 wagon is great. Closing in on 100K and needing a few things, but still a fine value.

My big question is what to get as my DD if my '96 9K stays out west? The '95 is getting tired and I'll be looking for a replacement in 2011. A 9-3SS or a 9-5 Aero are the top choices. Not sure whether I should do a sedan or a wagon.
