Right.. if your saying the M1 0w-40 is on the thin side and the GM's LL 025
spec was really more for the 9-3s I'd have to agree. What's interesting
is my 2003 aero has a Mobil Sticker under the hood that appears to be from
the factory ..I would think Saab was still putting their Saab blend in the cars back then?
Anyway..the M1-10w-40 is more easy to come by here so I may give that a try
if its still summer-fall. I just changed the oil though and since I didn't
find any on sale "sprung" for the M1 0w-40. Before that the Castrol 5w-40
Syntec was on sale a lot so I put that in . I seem to alternate between
Castrol and M1 every 5K. I'd love to find time to pick one with a better high-shear weight but it takes time...not sure why they don't list some
numbers on the bottle. The A3/B4 etc thing doesn't help either as every oil on the shelf list that. The GM LL spec not so much..I know the Syntec 5w-40 stopped listing it but I have a bottle where it's listed.
