YIKES!!!! You live a little more danderously than me....I tempted fate and drove 35 miles on the Washington Beltway with my expired tags to get the OBD data and got to my inspection service station. I also noticed my annual safety inspection was due this month, so I decided to go for broke and get the emissions and the safety inspection. Luck was with me as I passed both, but curious to see that the column for Evaporative Test was marked N/A!!! And I thought this was the unfixed problem that was gonna send me to jail!! Anyway, it seems I successfully heat welded the crack at the vapor leak sensor and no more gas fumes in car for now.... I got myself over to the DMV and boldly re-registered for a 2 year tag renewal!!! Maybe my 1999 9-5 with 180K miles will go the distance yet!!
Good Luck to All Us Saabers!!
