If I were in your shoes, I would call the supplier + confirm that the stuff you just bought is G05. I would at this point just do a flush + use G05. If the stuff you just bought is G05, then you're set + no need to buy any! Otherwise, it's readily available (eg carquest, mercedes dealer, etc)... no need to order online!
I'm pretty sure cars 2002+ came with dexcool... but there's no reason for that other than that's what GM put in the cars... G05 would have been just fine... but now requires a really thorough flush to change over... that's all!
