just flush the system with clean water, make sure you have no leaks and you are good to go. Dexcool keeps everything really clean, and if your cooling system is old and nasty you will knock loose a bunch of crud -- beware!
The other thing with dexcool is air -- if it is in your cooling system with dexcool it will cause corrosion over time -- especially plastic parts and some types of metal castings. But with conventional types of coolant if you have air in the system you will get rust corrosion and scale deposits.
I have been using dexcool in my indy Saab business for about 15 years and have seen no problems with it. The cooling systems stay really clean and I do not see nearly as much cooling system scale deposits.
