2000 9-5 V6. Replaced automatic trans with a junkyard item. A real struggle. Had to solder the wires from my old male (245)plug to the nrew unit's NSS. Now I have code 705, Limp Home. Checked the wiring color codes on the WIS. They are different. I peeled back the tape on the female 239 plug and the color codes were proper. Now I am stymied. I can not find what the color coding should be going into the NSS. My thoughts are that the junkyard tranny is really from a 9-3?????. It did come from a 4 cylinder unit. Oddly, the color coding on my defunct tranny matched what is on the replacment unit. Could it be that the color coding really does not matter? Maybe what I really need to do is adjust the linkage as per the WIS, But I really cannot decipher the instructions. It just seems to simple. Any help is always appreciated. This tranny R/R has taken waay to long. Thanks, PFB.
