Less, That is how I started out. I matched the male 245 plug from my old NSS to the new NSS. The colors matched! I have checked my soldering for continuity and there are no issues. The odd thing is the wire colors on both failed tranny and replacment tranny NSSs were no where near the 239 female plug, which matches the colors of the WIS. The 245 plug wiring that I have (on both NSSs) is as follows pin #1 WH/BK, Pin #2 WH/BK, Pin #3 WH/GN, Pin #4 YE/RD, pin #5 blank, pin #6 BK, pin #7 bk, pin #8 WH/BU, pin #10 W. I am confounded as the WIS indicates, and the harnes at female plug 239 IS properly color coded as follows. Pin #1 BN, pin #2 VT, pin #3 OG/WH, pin #4 GY, Pin #5 blank, pin #6 WH, pin #7 YE, pin #8 BU/RD, pin #9 VT, pin #10 BU.
One other issue (not related to the NSS). When I opened the OBD Scan plate under the dash I noticed a very small single pole on/off switch. It was not fixed, just sort of dangling there. I did nothing with it. Is this a FACTORY switch that has come adrift? If so for what? If not, I suspect that this is a "hidden' disabling switch for an aftermarket anti-theft switch. But, one problem at a time.
Thanks for the inputs.
