As you know from my recent Aero problems, I truly understand the frustration you feel! You don't suppose your car and mine were next to each other on the assembly line late one Friday afternoon when they decided to use up all the defective parts? Sorry, I'm at the point of trying really hard to find some humor in our Saab stories (it's not easy!). Mine just turned to 500 miles, I am holding my breath, but I still haven't gone too far from home.

Could the first problem be the DI cassette? As I recall that's similar to how my '95 9000CS acted (at 35,000 miles, a bit premature!). Just a guess. I also know from my old one that depending on whether the sun is shining directly on the sensor on the dash or not, sometimes it affects the climate control temperature. Haven't had my new one long enough to play with much of anything in it. I did not follow the thread on moisture and starting problems, but that doesn't sound "normal" to me.

I sincerely hope everything gets fixed quickly and to your satisfaction. I truly sympathize, as I know this is not your first trip back to the shop. Do you worry when they start taking all sorts of things apart on such a new car? I feel very vulnerable to more misfortune and further reliability issues, somewhere down the line... Keep us posted.

Good Luck,
AeroLady
'02 Aero SW, Steel gray, manual, touring, hopefully all fixed!
'95 9000CS, in our driveway, finally for sale
'89 9000S, probably still out there somewhere
