I run 0W/30 in the wife's 9-3SC year round, and 5W/40 in my 9-5 year round. In hot weather with a heavily loaded car I would go with the 40 weight, but that is my personal opinion only.
BTW - the 0, 5, 10, 30, and 40 values correspond to which range of viscosity values (either Centistokes or Sabolt Seconds Universal) the oil's measured viscosity falls within at specified testing temperatures. They really aren't a measure of the oil's lubricating ability.
