Coolant in my 2002 9-5 Linear would leak a small amount of liquid if it's parked for a week or so, and especially when you warmed up and let it idle until reached operating temperature. The leak is in front on the passenger side, more like underneath the water pump area. This is nowhere near the bypass valve, which I've replaced it 2 years ago. The water pump was also replaced a little a year ago with Hepu brand... Could possibly the water is still good, but the o-rings for the inlet pipes might be bad or was not putting in correctly? I did not do the work, but had an independent shop do the work with my parts...
Again, if I drive my car every single day, I have no puddle. If I park the car for about a week or longer and occasionally start the car and let it idled until the operating temperature, I get a puddle next day...But when I look at the coolant reservoir, I see all the fluid are there and at the maximum line.
What gives? Is someone messing with my mind??
Any ideas what to do or where to look at?
Thanks,
Rick
