I have two 9-5's. A 99 sedan that came equipped with 16" rims and an 05 Aero wagon that came equipped with 17" rims. I switched the wheels between the two cars because I thought the Aero's ride was too harsh. Now, I'm pretty well pleased with the ride of the Aero and I like the ride and handling of the sedan too with the 17" wheels. The wear on the tires seems to be ok on both cars. I've been driving them a few years like this and am pretty well satisfied with the swap. The only drawback is that the speedometers seem to be a little bit off.
