Mobil has something to say about this (see link below), but not much that isn't being said here. I'm not trying to get better. I'm trying to get an A3/B3 rated oil that's thicker than the 0W40.
I'm not sure why there's no plain M1 5W40 here as Mobil does make it (http://www.mobil.com/China-English/Lubes/PDS/GLXXENPVLMOMobil1_5W-40.aspx) versus the ESP Formula M 5W-40 (http://www.mobil.com/USA-English/Lubes/PDS/GLXXENPVLMOMobil1_ESP_Formula_M_5W-40.aspx). Is the ash in the diesel 5W40 oil an issue (http://www.mobil.com/USA-English/Lubes/PDS/GLXXENPVLMOMobil1_Turbo_Diesel_Truck_5W-40.aspx)? It's got less ash than the Chinese 5W40.
