Hi Anders,
first, sorry for not telling the whole story to begin with. I had a cracked radiator and replaced it. When I refilled with coolant the CBV started leaking like crazy (liquid was spewing out of it). I replaced CBV and leak reduced but hasn't completely gone away.
Isn't one radiator fan supposed to come on anytime A/C is on? I have a multimeter and WIS so I can start taking a look at the electrical diagram but I wanted to see if this provided any diagnostic evidence.
One time I started the car with the plug shown in the attached image unplugged (did this by accident - started isn't the right word as the car won't start like this, but I turned it on) and radiator immediately kicks in.
Maybe my first move should be getting a reader to check out coolant and engine temps...
