I'm facing the same question - about to redo the rear suspension (Sealey tool just arrived :)), without a lift. Platonoff's DIY site shows a jackstand under the rear side jack point, where the OEM jack would go. I'm not just sure I trust a jackstand sitting under that lip. Other posts seem to say the "frame" towards the back will bend if used to support the car. Maybe others can pipe in...
