The guy that sold me the Hyperboost valve said he was currently using it on a TT with 1.5bar of boost (about what you're saying is the pressure on 2.3 HOT) with no problems. I may put the Bosch valve back in and see what the gauge does at max boost as I can't remember if it went all the way to the end of the red zone or not (I'll assume that the stock valve provides max boost pressure)
Here's a note if you're planning on installing the Hyperboost valve- the connection on the air box side is quite tight- you need to press it in pretty hard to get it installed, it seems that it is a slightly larger diameter than the stock valve.
So you're getting the same max point on the boost gauge with your Forge valve?
Let me know how it goes once you've installed the Hyperboost BPV.
