Ok, first you didn't mention if the 4 cylinder was a 2.3 LPT or an Aero (2.3 HOT - High Output Turbo). If it is an Aero, go with that one, they are a world more fun, lots more horses and torque, sportier suspension, etc. If the 4 isn't an Aero, then study the other posts in this thread for opinions on the differences between the 2.3 LPT and the V-6. There have been many wars over this issue in Saabnet and they will continue. Basically the 4 is less powerful and usually a bit less well fitted out. For instance, the V-6 will have a better stereo, the 4 may or may not. However you can get a manual transmission on the 4 and you can't on the V-6. There are so many opinions on this, that it isn't funny. Basically you should drive them both, listen to your favorite music and make up your own mind.
