Car is a '99 SE (4-cyl) with 4-sp automatic. The seal p/n is 90542019 (either side).
The WIS says that the passenger side seal can be removed with a large screwdriver; install with drift.
The left side seal procedure is more complicated. The WIS calls for removal with puller 87 92 350 and back stop 87 91 683; installation with drift 83 90 122 and protective collar 83 95 162.
Has anyone DIY'ed the left side drive shaft seal in the car and without the special SAAB tools?
