61K miles. I was shocked to find the one the dealer claims was brand new looked well worn and dirty, while my original clockspring I put back in looked almost new in comparison (dealer charged me $274 for their "new" clockspring!) So I was hoping to find the steering wheel controls back operating again as I did not find an un-connected or loose plug when I did the swap. Unfortunately the problem is still not resolved - audio down volume activates the horn, none of the other controls work at all.
I thought the clockspring was a plug-and-play part, but now I'm wondering if that is not the case, the mechanic has to reprogram it with a Tech II. Can anyone confirm that? Thanks
