Thank you for the advice. I am certainly hoping that the issue is not a blown head gasket.
I'm a little curious about why it would take 15 minutes of idling for the cold engine to start pushing out coolant. Somehow I thought that this might be the thermostat opening, since the overflow begins abruptly at the 15 minute mark. The water was cold that was being pushed out, but that was just the water that had been sitting in the overflow tank, so it was bound to be cold. If I let it continue to pump out, it might get warmer.
Obviously, I am trying to use some logic and understand what is happening before I start tearing things apart. Something changes at the 15 minute mark that results in water being pushed out of the tank.
