Gislaved is the spelling, and I have also read the terrific reports that the Nkian Hakka "Q" tires have recieved, but the only hesitation I have about them on my 17 inch wheels is the width, as well as the Q speed rating. The width is the more critical issue.I have enough experience with the 205 width of the Saab supplied package that I am just reluctant to try the wider tires. Also, the Gislaved tires I had on my 99 lasted four seasons, and will give their new owner a season this winter. Hard to argue with those results. Buying the package at the dealer also makes it a one stop shopping type of affair, and for me is just easier, especially since they are priced competitively with Tire Rack's prices.
Not sure how the wheels will look for this year yet, but as long as they are not butt ugly, I will go with Saab's package.
