I question my idle-speed control also

I thought that compression and gearing factored in, thanks for clearly stating it.
However, I wonder if my idle speed is managed properly. Perhaps I start seperate thread so it's not buried here. But since I've begun....
A couple of weeks ago I was stuck in construction traffic on SR37, bumper to bumper for 10-15 miles. When traffic would start to move, and I gave it some gas, then let foot off of gas, my idle speed (while car moving) seemed higher than if after stopping, I simply let off of brake.
Anyone else notice this?
I'll have to see if I can duplicate it w/o getting stuck in traffic, then bring up at 10,000 mile service. Maybe try another Aero at dealer.
