I mentioned two reasons why there would be less engine braking on an Aero, there is also a third, it is a relatively small engine compared to the size you would have with a normally aspirated engine on a car this size. So you have a small engine with low compression and long gearing.
Now to your current question. When stopped with an auto transmission in gear at this time of the year you would likely have two major loads on the engine, the airconditioning and the torque converter and a few minor loads from the alternator and the water pump, etc. When you let up on the brakes, and get the car rolling, one of the major loads, the load on the torque converter drops substantially. This should allow the idle speed to increase because of the decreased load. I know it would in the pre engine management days when engines had carburators and real distributors. The engine management will try to keep the idle steady but obviously it is only partially successful. Nothing to worry about here.
