I have seen MANY more people driving around at dusk and pitch black night w/o lights on because their DRL's are on. NO taillights, side markers, etc, and full obliviousness. I've been guilty of it myself; it's not all that obviously if you have headlights that are automatically on w/the key. I wasn't happy w/the headlight on and reprogrammed for the parking lights option, which I think is much better. Wish it had a chime, though! I would have no problem w/a lower wattage or amber DRL, but some of these ARE amazingly distracting and confusing.
